ASSISTING THE DISABLED TOWARD SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT

WHAT WE DO

We write P.A.S.S. PLANS For You

P.A.S.S. = Plan for Achieving Self Support

We are a professional  P.A.S.S. Plan writing service that provides a written, approved  P.A.S.S. Plan of employment  for disabled individuals . Our product is  a  written document  prepared in accordance with the Social Security Administration's Work Incentive Program. The P.A.S.S. Plan is a "roadmap" document that outlines  step-by-step how an individual  will attain his or her  feasible, reachable, work goal. Each P.A.S.S. Plan is individualized to the person's own goal . It ensures success in attainment of the desired work goal,  with written out instructions to follow  each step of the way.

P.A.S.S. Plans are for disabled individuals  receiving Social Security  disability ( or who are eligible for S.S.I.--we can send an S.S.I. application along with the P.A.S.S. Plan).  A P.A.S.S. Plan is for those who want to work and who are motivated to  work toward a specific self-chosen  employment goal to become self-supporting. The disabled person has  complete control over the work goal and plan. P.A.S.S. Plans  are for those who desire the  empowerment  of  successful work and  the  freedom from dependence on the small income of Social Security disability benefits.  Having a  P.A.S.S. Plan allows a disabled individual to set aside earned income  to obtain the necessary education, equipment, training, transportation,  assistive devices, and /or any  other things needed  and /or required  to reach his or her  specified  work goal. Our initial  interview process  with those wanting a P.A.S.S . Plan will determine whether or not a  P.A.S.S. is feasible for that person.

P.A.S.S. Plan Eligibility Determination Process

Not everyone is a good candidate for a P.A.S.S. Plan , but we can determine that with our initial  phone interview contact. If the person is a good candidate for a P.A.S.S., we proceed with the process of working with the individual to obtain and gather pertinent information concerning the individual's specific situation, the  job goal , and  exactly what is needed to plan for to  reach  that specific goal. We conduct this interview  using SSA's actual form ( SSA form  # 545A, viewable @  http://www.ssa.gov ).

We interview the individual via telephone, and correspond via email , fax,or US Postal Service. ( "snail mail"). Public and Private Agencies  utilizing our service in referral of a consumer  will  receive correspondence via their workplace computer.

A person  interested in having us write his/her Plan needs to have access to an email account  and FAX ( if none, local V.R. offices,  welfare offices, employment development department offices, some  local schools, and/or  local libraries have computers  and FAX machines available for public use. A free email account can be established at one of the free  e-mail services .( Free email  service can be found  @  http://www.hotmail.com  or @ http://www.yahoo.com , and many others). A free Internet account , if needed, is available at many sites, including such as  @ http://www.Juno.com .

We  handle every aspect concerning the Social Security P.A.S.S. Plan  approval process by direct contact with the individual and the  individual's regional area Social Security office. We follow through with any administrative hearings contacts/documents or appeals via correspondence with Social Security ; We revise the P.A.S.S. Plan , if needed, to obtain approval. We can also  help  the consumer with suggestions on self employment and we'll submit  a business plan with the P.A.S.S. to suit the desired goal. We also  provide information on how having a P.A.S.S. affects the person's  other benefits such as housing, food stamps, state grants, etcetera. Refer to our FAQ and Information pages  for specific questions or visit the links to SSA if you desire to view SSA explanations  or order booklets concerning SSA work incentive programs.
